Attractive, slower-growing perennial. Grown for its extraordinary deep purple foliage. Best grown in well- lit shady positions for optimal leaf colour and growth. Low maintenance, drought tolerant once established. Cannot handle frost. Fertilise regularly. Suited to both indoors and outdoors.
