Fuchsia

Fuchsias love lots of filtered light but are particularly intolerant of heat, making them the perfect winter flowering plant.  Fuchsias prefer cooler night-time temperatures and wild fuchsias, grow in the Andes where temperatures are cool, and the air is moist.
